It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Nancy Suet Ying Cheung of Hong Kong on December 12, 2020 at the age of 61, with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Man Yuk and Mei Tim Cheung.
Nancy was born in Hong Kong and grew up in New York City and graduated from New York University with a degree in Business and Public Administration. She also obtained a law degree from the City University of Hong Kong.
Her professional life was largely spent in Hong Kong with assignments in London and Singapore. Nancy was the Managing Director and CAO, BMO Private Banking Asia. Prior to that, Nancy was the Managing Director for Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA). Nancy also held positions with HSBC Private Bank Asia.
A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Nancy loved spending time with her family. She was a caring and kind aunt who cherished her nieces and nephew like a mother. She was a person of a generous heart and personality. At family gatherings, she brightened conversations with her light-hearted stories, astute comments, and laughter. Nancy loved her dog Panda and her passions included hiking and traveling all over the world with her many friends. Some of her favorite hobbies included knitting, photography, singing, and learning piano.
